Privacy policy
This page explains what ZZveenus handles when it runs in Discord and when you sign in to use the web dashboard.
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Information used by the bot
ZZveenus processes Discord server and member identifiers needed to run commands and features. Depending on the features a server uses, its configuration can include channel and role IDs, Steam discount and keyword-filter settings, tracked YouTube channel and video IDs, game-code alert settings, moderation and vote-kick settings, announcement settings, and whether sticky roles are enabled.
When sticky roles are enabled, ZZveenus stores member IDs, role IDs, and timestamps needed to restore eligible roles if a person rejoins. Sticky-role records are stored separately from a server’s main configuration and are pruned after 90 days.
The bot also stores temporary Top.gg vote-pass information for bulk role actions. This includes a Discord user ID and the pass expiration time.
Messages and command content
ZZveenus does not save a general archive of server messages. The Steam keyword filter checks Steam sale text against the server’s configured keywords. `/filter test` checks the sentence you submit against those keywords to report whether it matches.
The bot has a private-message command listener for its owner account. Content handled by that listener is held in temporary process memory for the relevant interaction; this site policy does not describe it as a general message-logging feature.
Dashboard sign-in and access
The dashboard uses Discord OAuth sign-in with the identity and server-list access needed to identify you and servers you belong to. While signed in, the dashboard keeps your Discord user identifier, display details, OAuth credentials, and security tokens in temporary server memory. Sessions expire after eight hours without activity, and a bot process restart clears them. OAuth flow state, rate-limit counters, and short-lived server-list caches are also held in memory.
Before showing or saving a server’s settings, the dashboard checks that ZZveenus is in that server and that your Discord account owns the server or has Manage Server or Administrator permission. The dashboard does not expose settings for servers that fail those checks.
Where information is stored
Bot configuration is stored as server-specific files on the bot host. Sticky-role data and temporary vote-pass records use separate files. Server owners can use `/request-deletion` to ask the bot owner to remove the main configuration file; this request is reviewed and carried out manually, not automatically. Sticky-role data is a separate file, so mention it in your support ticket if you also want that file removed.
Service providers and external requests
Operating the bot and dashboard involves Discord for login and bot services, Top.gg for vote verification, Steam services for public profile and sale information, YouTube services for channel/video information, and public game-code feed providers for code alerts. Requests to those services are made when a corresponding feature needs them. Their own privacy policies and service terms apply to information they process.
Retention and security
Configuration is kept while it is needed to provide the bot’s features or until the bot owner removes it. Dashboard sessions and other temporary authentication state are held in memory and expire as described above. Reasonable technical protections are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Your choices and questions
Server administrators can change supported settings with bot commands or the dashboard, and can disable supported features. To ask about a server’s data or request its removal, join the support server and open a ticket in #make-ticket. Only a server owner can submit `/request-deletion`.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the bot or dashboard changes. The date at the top indicates the latest revision.
